Due to snow and ice, an open house about Multnomah County‘s 20-year capital improvement plan for its roads scheduled for tonight in Corbett has been canceled.

Multnomah County officials are encouraging residents to visit the online open house through March 4 to provide input. It’s accessible at:聽.

Multnomah County is hosting a series of open house meetings and the online one to gather input concerning plans for its 274 miles of roads. Most are in rural areas and the cities of Fairview, Troutdale and Wood Village; however, others are in urban unincorporated areas including Dunthorpe and Portland’s West Hills.

The final plan will prioritize capital projects that range from road widening and bike lanes to culvert replacements and more.

The first open house was held Monday in Wood Village; the third and final one will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at the Sauvie Island Grange, 14443 N.W. Charlton Road on Sauvie Island.
