A pre-application conference is sought for redevelopment of the east end of the Lloyd Center at 1260 N.E. Lloyd Center. A Type II historic resource review is sought for construction of a two-story, 29,000-square-foot brick office building at 2148 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The building would serve as the headquarters for Harder Mechanical Contractors and replace an existing two-story, 8,276-square-foot non-contributing structure in the Eliot Conservation District. A private surface parking lot would occupy the lot’s eastern portion. The applicant is Cole Cabler of Ankrom Moisan Architects, and the owner is CNS Properties LLC.
A Type II historic resource review is sought for improvements to the U.S. National Bank Building at 321-331 S.W. Sixth Ave. Work is to include replacement of existing storefront entry doors, a new rooftop skylight, mechanical cooling tower and exterior improvements to the private third-level courtyard (including a new spiral staircase), guardrails, raised platform and third-floor wall mural. New entry doors are also proposed for the adjacent Wells Fargo Building at 317 S.W. Sixth Ave. The buildings are both owned by 309 S.W. 6th Ave Property LLC, which is registered to the El Segundo, California address of Westport Capital Partners.
