Cordley Hall Renovation

Project Description: The project calls for the design and renovation of an existing 221,000 gross SF laboratory and classroom building with office space and auditorium.
The Work will consist of two phases of construction on the Oregon State University Main campus, in Corvallis, Oregon.
1. Phase One: Cordley Hall West.
2. Phase Two: Cordley Hall East.
Cordley Hall consists of two buildings: Cordley West 1959 and Cordley East 1965.
Cordley Hall West is 4 stories high, Cordley Hall East is 5 stories tall, both are concrete frame, brick clad, with aluminum ribbbon windows.

The project will demolish all MEP system, interior partitions, doors and frames, and finishes. Cordley Hall will be renovated into modern research labs, teaching labs, lecture hall, collections, and offices.

The overall construction budget is $100M. Additive alternates (multiple) will be tracked throughout preconstruction. MEP equipment will remain sized for the full
build-out whether or not the alternates are exercised. Project is prevailing wage, per OSU standards.

*A non-mandatory project walk-thru will be hosted at the Cordley Hall site on
Tuesday, March 12th at 10:00 AM. Meet in West Cordley Hall parking lot.

Three items of note:
1. Specified equipment manufacturers (for mechanical, electrical and plumbing) must be used for the SD budget. Manufacturers have been notified as part of this solicitation. Manufacturer pricing will be emailed directly to Systems West for scope review and then forwarded to Andersen where it will be available to trade partners.
Please correspond directly with manufacturers with equipment scope questions.
2. RFP is for award of pre-construction contract only. Andersen intends to award construction contract to selected trade partner contingent on satisfactory performance and adherence to cost targets.

Manufacturer proposals are due to Systems West by March 13, 2019.
