Building permits issued for March 18-24

• A $4,000,000 alteration permit was issued for the Premier Gear & Machine Works building project. A former warehouse space at 1715 N.W. 17th Ave. will be converted to a creative office building. The applicant is Julio Rocha of LRS Architects, the contractor is Lorentz Bruun, and the owner is Premier Gear Bldg LLC.

• A $775,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement on the ground floor of the west building at the One North development, at 3506 N. Vancouver Ave. The project will include combining two tenant spaces and a change of occupancy from A and M to B. The applicant is Hosiah Henley of Holst Architecture, the contractor is R&H Construction, and the owner is Karuna Properties II West LLC.

• A $1,302,939 alteration permit is under review for the conversion of 39 existing two-bedroom, two-bathroom units back to the original 78 one-bedroom, one-bathroom units at the Vista St. Clair Apartments at 1000 S.W.
