SURVEYING

North Santiam Paving employee Michael Downs has passed exams to earn his Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license, and the Oregon-specific exam for surveying administered by the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineering & Land Surveying. For North Santiam Paving, Downs primarily generates working electronic representations of projects via land surveying and CAD programs. He also performs general land surveys, including boundaries, subdivisions, partitions, easements and deeds. Downs joined the firm in 2014. He received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in land surveying from the Oregon Institute of Technology in 1996.
