The KPFF Portland Structural office has promoted Reid Zimmerman to technical director. He will serve as a resource for complex projects and contribute to innovative developments within structural engineering. He will focus on performance- and resilience-based design, nonlinear response history analysis, seismic isolation, energy dissipation, and re-centering and low-damage systems. Additionally, Zimmerman will deliver presentations at national and international conferences, contribute to articles in publications, and engage with the professional community.
