Building permits issued for Aug. 5-11

• A $17,534,960 addition permit was issued for a new four-story building on an existing three-story garage at the Adidas campus, at 5060 N. Greeley Ave. The applicant is Dannon Canterbury of LEVER Architecture, the contractor is Turner Construction Co., and the owner is Adidas Village Corporation. A $1,350,000 new construction permit was also issued for a three-bay loading facility at 5275 N. Greeley Ave; the applicant and contractor are the same, and the owner is Adidas America Inc. of Spartanburg, South Carolina.

• A $635,000 addition permit is under inspection for the remodel of kitchen classroom space at David Douglas High School, at 1001 S.E. 135th Ave. The applicant is Ryan Pickrel of Faster Permits, the contractor is Cormack Construction Company Inc., and the owner is School District #40.

• A $1,500,000 addition permit was issued for an addition on the southwest side of an Oxford Suites hotel building at 12226 N. Jantzen Drive. The project will include converting office space to guest rooms and remodeling a kitchen, a lobby, a bar and restrooms. The applicant is Bret Matteis of OS Inned Inc., the contractor is Censor Commercial Construction, and the owner is Baney Corp.

• A $700,000 new construction permit was issued for a two-story, 12-unit apartment building at 4130 N.E. Garfield Ave. The applicant is Steve Fosler of Fosler Portland Architecture, the contractor is BTS Homes Inc., and the owner is Alpina Properties LLC.

• A $663,000 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for metal wall panels on Mill Creek Residential Trust’s Modera Glisan project at 1430 N.W. Hoyt St. The applicant is Dustin Simonis of contractor MCRT PNW Construction LLC, and the owner is Glisan Apartments LLC.

• A $625,000 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for post-tensioned concrete on an apartment building at 5620 N. Interstate Ave. The applicant is Hayden Doud of contractor R&H Construction, and the owner is CREA CEP Nomad LLC.

• A $40,017,000 new construction permit is under inspection for Saltwood, a six-story, 177-unit apartment project with two levels of below-grade parking at 1650 N.W. 21st Ave. The site in the Con-way Master Plan area is currently in use as a surface parking lot. The applicant is Katalin Czege of SERA Architects, the contractor is Bremik Construction, and the owner is PREG NW Portland LLC of San Mateo, California.

• A $3,739,986 new construction permit is under inspection for a three-story office building at 2045 N. Vancouver Ave. The building will serve as the new headquarters for Meyer Memorial Trust. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, the contractor is O’Neill/Walsh Community Builders, and the owner is 2045 N Vancouver LLC.

• A $747,491 new construction permit was issued for a revision to grading plans to add a retaining wall as part of a new tilt-up project at 755 N.E. Columbia Blvd. The applicant is Scott Moore of Mackenzie, the contractor is Sierra Construction, and the owner is Bridge Point I-5 LLC of Itasca, Illinois.

• A $1,125,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for a distillery at The Hopper building at 2000 N.W. Wilson St. The applicant is Zachary Freund of LRS Architects, the contractor is R&H Construction, and the owner is MW 2000 Wilson LLC.

Facility permits issued for Aug. 5-11

• An $890,000 alteration permit was issued for a 12th-floor tenant improvement to create three suites at the Wells Fargo Center at 1300 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Brandon Hansen, the contractor is Commercial Contractors Inc., and the owner is SOF-XI WFP Owner LLC of Greenwich, Connecticut. Another $1,062,342 alteration permit was issued for demolition work to return the entire 12th floor to a shell for future build-out. The applicant is Jake Money of Commercial Contractors Inc.

• A $24,637,067 alteration permit was issued for the building enclosure package for the Portland Building reconstruction project, at 1120 S.W. Fifth Ave. This includes a deferred submittal for land use review of interpretive displays mandated as part of the conditions of approval set for the project by the Historic Landmarks Commission. The applicant is Erica Ceder of DLR Group, the contractor is Balfour Beatty Construction, and the owner is the city of Portland.

• A $1,411,304 alteration permit was issued for a fourth-floor surgical space remodel at Providence Portland Medical Center at 4805 N.E. Glisan St. The applicant is Joe Webb of owner Providence Health Services – Oregon, and the contractor is Andersen Construction Co.

• A $3,564,700 fire alarms alteration permit was issued for fire alarm system replacement at the OHSU Hospital building at 3181 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road. The applicant is Gary Hatch of Dynalectric.

• An $11,500,000 mechanical alteration permit was issued on deferred submittal for work on the Portland Building project, including wet mechanical systems, seismic bracing of penthouse equipment and pump skids. The applicant is Aaron Brown of Temp Control Mechanical.

• A $1,782,000 alteration permit is under review for a digestive health clinic tenant improvement on the sixth floor of a Providence Portland Medical Center space at 4400 N.E. Halsey St. The applicant is Joe Webb of Providence Health Services-Oregon, the contractor is Fortis Construction Inc., and the owner is Davis Business Center LLC.

• A $1,924,382 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for Bullivant Houser Bailey on the eighth floor of the Umpqua Bank Plaza building at 1 S.W. Columbia St. The applicant is Wendi Abba of GBD Architects, the contractor is Robert Todd Construction, and the owner is Umpqua Plaza Property LLC.

• A $621,000 alteration permit is under review for an office tenant improvement at the Kaiser Permanente Building at 500 N.E.
