• Early assistance is sought to upgrade a fuel island at 6814 N./N.E. 42nd Ave. to conform with Bureau of Environmental Services standards. Upgrades are to include installation of an awning, grading adjustments, connection to sanitary sewer, and repair/replacement of entrance/exit paving aprons. The applicant is Daniel Scarpine of Aquarius Environmental, and the owner is Christensen Inc. of Richland, Washington.

• Early assistance is pending for a 15-unit multifamily project at 3224 S.W. 12th Ave. This project is proposed to become part of a larger one planned on a site to the north. The applicant is Sean O’Neill of Tucson, Arizona-based Scotia Western States Housing LLC, and the owners are Lawrence Margolin, Ashley Devarajan and Deepak Devarajan.

• A pre-application conference is pending for development of a four-story, 127-room hotel on an unimproved lot at 11468 N.E. Holman St. The applicant is John Ford of Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Holman Hospitality Group, and the owner is Pacific NW Properties LP.

• A pre-application conference is sought for a potential comprehensive plan map amendment with a zone map amendment to change the zoning of an 18-acre church property at 6100 S.W. Raab Road from R20 to R10 or R7. The applicant is Peter Finley Fry, and the owner is First Church of the Nazarene.

• A Type III conditional use procedure is sought for the sale of the north parking lot at a church property at 1844 S.E. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. The applicant is David Brink of owner Central Christian Church.

• A Type II greenway procedure is pending for replacement of an above-ground water main that crosses over the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad track on the North Willamette Boulevard Bridge between North Ida Avenue and North Carey Boulevard. The replacement main will be below-grade and installed using the auger-bore method. The applicant is Catherine Corliss of Angelo Planning Group, and the owners are Metro and the city of Portland.

• A Type II historic resource review is pending for the addition of photovoltaic solar panels to the historic Oregon State Bank Building at 4200 N.E. Sandy Blvd. The applicant is Bob Rathbone of Premier Solar NW, and the owner is Everest Sports LLC.
