CONSTRUCTION

Joseph Hughes Construction has added Taylor Schmitz as controller. His responsibilities will include providing financial communication and education to all project managers and project engineers, building forecasting models, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency and profitability. Schmitz has more than 12 years of financial and accounting experience with companies including Tektronix and Xerox. He has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in marketing from Eastern Oregon University, a Master of Business Administration from Gonzaga University and an associate鈥檚 degree in architectural design and drafting from Portland Community College.
