The聽Daily Journal聽of聽Commerce聽held its annual聽Women聽of聽Vision聽education and awards program聽Thursday evening at the聽Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront. The awards honor women who are shaping the built environment with their leadership, mentoring efforts, community involvement and promotion of industry diversity.

The conference featured guest speaker Lakecia Gunter, a vice president and general manager for Intel Corporation, and an awards ceremony honoring 44 Oregon and Southwest Washington women who are involved in architecture, engineering, construction and fields related to the building industry.
