Building permits issued for Nov. 11-17

• A $500,000 alteration permit is under inspection for the repair and partial replacement of the decorative wood-coffered ceiling in the Kridel Grand Ballroom of the Mark Building at the Portland Art Museum, at 1119 S.W. Park Ave. Portions of the ceiling fell in September. The applicant is Joshua Stein of Hennebery Eddy Architects, the contractor is MA Mortenson Company, and the owner is Portland Art Museum.

• An $800,000 alteration permit was issued for a core-and-shell renovation for four future tenant spaces at an existing two-story building at 538 S.E. Ash St. The applicant is Brian Melton of DiLoreto Architecture, the contractor is Bulldog Mechanical & Remodeling Inc., and the owner is TVOA LLC.

• A $1,139,295 alteration permit was issued for a change of occupancy and shell improvements to an office building at 620 S.W. Fifth Ave. The improvements will occur mainly in the east half of the building, in the basement through fifth floors. The applicant is Ellen Krusi of Waterleaf Architecture, the contractor is Grand + Benedicts Construction Inc., and the owner is Walker Place LLC.

• A $2,200,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for a new online retailer fulfillment center tenant in the entire south building on a three-building property at 5015 N.W. Front Ave. The applicant is Suzannah Stanley of Mackenzie, the contractor is Colorado Structures Inc., and the owner is LIT Finance III LLC of Dallas, Texas.

• A total of 26 demolition permits with a combined value of $1,844,000 were issued for the demolition of 26 buildings at the former ESCO Corp. site around 2141 N.W. 25th Ave. The 22.45-acre site was purchased by a group of local developers and investors last year. The applicant is Matt Johnson of KPFF, the contractor is Calbag Resources LLC, and the owner is Jennifer Pittsley of 1535-A1 LLC.

• A $1,100,000 new construction permit was issued for a new three-story, nine-unit apartment building at 4415 S.E. 61st Ave. The applicant is Brandon Yoder of Builders Design, the contractor is Provision Remodeling LLC, and the owner is Provision Builders LLC.

• A $942,000 addition permit submitted on deferred submittal is under review for terra cotta wall panels on a Legacy Emanuel hospital expansion project at 2835 N. Kerby Ave. The applicant is Rilyn Lewchuk of contractor Andersen Construction, and the owner is Legacy Emanuel Hospital & Health Center.

• A $529,440 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement at 1601 N. Columbia Blvd. The applicant is Max Plukchi of Lenity Architecture, the owner is N. Columbia Blvd. LLC, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $550,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for a new tenant in an existing single-story building at 1122 N.W. Everett St. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, the owner is Everett Street LLC, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $3,852,321 alteration permit is under review for a core-and-shell renovation to an office building at Oregon Square, at 710 N.E. Holladay St. The applicant is Dustin White of GBD Architects, the owner is AAT Lloyd District LLC of San Diego, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $1,365,000 new construction permit submitted on deferred submittal is under review for light-gauge metal framing on an apartment building at 5620 N. Interstate Ave. The applicant is Hayden Doud of contractor R&H Construction, and the owner is CREA CEP Nomad LLC.

• A $1,047,000 alteration permit is under inspection for a hospital pharmacy tenant improvement on the ground floor of Legacy Emanuel Medical Center at 2801 N. Gantenbein Ave. The applicant is Marcelo Cardenas of PKA Architects, the contractor is Andersen Construction, and the owner is Emanuel Hospital of Irving, Texas.
