Building permits issued for Nov. 25-Dec. 1

  • A $1,400,000 new construction permit is under inspection for a three-story, 18-unit apartment building at 6310 N. Maryland Ave. The applicant is Steve Fosler of Fosler Portland Architecture, the contractor is Hamilton and Kashoro Group LLC, and the owners are Knockout Investments LLC and YJS Management Co., both of Las Vegas.
  • A $904,077 new construction permit is under inspection for a three-story, 14-unit apartment building at 1825 N. Rosa Parks Way. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, the contractor is Tieton Homes LLC, and the owner is 1825 N. Rosa Parks Apartments LLC.

Building permit intakes for Nov. 25-Dec. 1

  • Seven alteration permits with a combined value of $1,221,423 are under review for the replacement of siding, trim, windows and doors on an apartment complex at 626-650 S.E. 162nd Ave. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is Springtree Wishrock LP of Missoula, Montana, and the primary contractor is out to bid.
  • Three alteration permits with a combined value of $750,000 are under review for grandstand improvements, including addition of ADA ramps and maintenance to existing bleachers and railings, at three Portland Public Schools campuses.   • A $750,000 alteration permit is under review for an office tenant improvement at 3610 N.W. St. Helens Rd. The applicant is Scott Daves of Pasadena, California-based Permits Today, the owner is HDNGR NW Industrial LLC, and the primary contractor is out to bid.
  • A $1,462,000 new construction permit is under review for a 22-unit apartment building at 5505 N.E. Glisan St. The applicant is Gene Bolante of Studio 3 Architecture, the contractor is WDC Construction, and the owner is Provi 3 PDX LLC.
  • A $3,244,000 new construction permit is under review for a new four-story apartment building at 1604 S.E. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. The applicant is Gene Bolante of Studio 3 Architecture, the contractor is WDC Construction, and the owner is Madden Family 1 LLC.
  • A $7,386,003 new construction permit is under review for a five-story, 78-unit apartment building with ground-floor retail and garage space at 1726 N.E. 82nd Ave. The applicant is Brad Kaul of Renton, Washington-based Kaul Design Architecture PLLC, the owner is Jay Patel, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

  • A $10,600,000 alteration permit is under review for Google on the fourth and fifth floors of the Meier & Frank Building at 555 S.W. Morrison St. The work will include installation of a new stairway between the floors. The applicant is Stephanie Amend of SERA Architects, the contractor is Swinerton Builders, and the owner is EOSII/SB Portland LLC of Newport Beach, California.
