Building permits issued for Dec. 2-8

• A $920,000 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for fiberglass windows on a building at the Adidas campus at 5070 N. Greeley Ave. The applicant is Brian Rodriguez of contractor Turner Construction, and the owner is Adidas Village Corporation.

Building permit intakes for Dec. 2-8

• A $700,000 alteration permit is under review for exterior renovations to a condominium building at 137 N. Hayden Bay Drive, including decks, siding, guardrails, and flashing and taping at windows. The applicant is Mike Montgomery of Simpl Home Designs, the contractor is Oakwood Remodeling Co. Inc., and the owner is the Association of Unit Owners of Columbia Point West Condo.

• A $3,735,189 alteration permit is under review for a first-time build-out of office space at District Office, 555 S.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The work would encompass a portion of the first floor, as well as all of the second and third floors. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, the owner is PMC Building LLC, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $600,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement at 600 S.W. Fifth Ave. The project would add walls to create space for an urgent care provider. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, the owner is 620 Building & Annex LLC, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $500,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement on both levels of a two-story office building at 3903 S.W. Kelly Ave. The applicant is Richard Grace of FFA Architecture & Interiors, the contractor is Lorentz Bruun Construction, and the owner is Kelly Street Holdings LLC.

• A $1,085,176 new construction permit is under review for a four-story, 18-unit apartment building at 3735 S.W. Hood Ave. The applicant is Zac Horton of Faster Permits, the contractor is Modern Northwest Inc., and the owner is Revitalize Portland LLC.

• A $1,085,000 new construction permit is under review for a three-story, six-unit apartment building at 7913 N. Jersey St. The applicant is Zac Horton of Faster Permits, the contractor is Crescent Custom Homes LLC of Lahaina, Hawaii, and the owner is Jason Brown.

• A $2,535,000 new construction permit is under review for a new convenience store at 611 N.E. 82nd Ave. The applicant is Duncan Wallace of Lynwood, Washington-based PM Design Group, the owner is PacWest Energy LLC of Meridian, Idaho, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

Facility permits issued for Dec. 2-8

• Two alteration permits with a combined value of $630,000 were issued for demolition-only landlord work on the fifth and sixth floors of the Pioneer Tower building at 888 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Anne Rogness of ZGF Architects, the contractor is R&H Construction, and the owner is LIPT SW Fifth Ave LLC of Chicago.

• A $500,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement to the lobby of the Standard Insurance Center at 900 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Eliza Balen of GBD Architects, the contractor is Walsh Construction Co., and the owner is Standard Ins Co.

• A $584,714 alteration permit was issued for the removal of four cooling towers on the 25th floor of the Standard Insurance Center at 900 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Cheryl Nicholson of contractor Apollo Sheet Metal Inc., and the owner is Standard Ins. Co.

• An $800,000 grading permit is under inspection for preloading of a site at 8900 N. Ramsey Blvd. for a future commercial building. The applicant is Amy Tallent of VLMK Engineering + Design, the contractor is Joseph Hughes Construction, and the owners are Jerry and Deborah Ivy of Mountain View, California.

• A $585,000 alteration permit is under review for landlord work in suite 100 of an office building at 1631 N.W. Thurman St., including demolition and new walls for open office space. The applicant is Todd Lopiparo of contractor Robert Todd Construction, and the owner is 1631 NW Thurman Owner LLC of Dallas, Texas.

• A $503,561 alteration permit is under review for the remodel of GBD Architects’ office on the third and fourth floors of a Brewery Blocks building at 1120 N.W. Couch St. The applicant is Lindsey Newman of GBD Architects, the contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis, and the owner is MEPT Brewery Block 2 LLC of Southlake, Texas.

• A $3,000,000 alteration permit is under review for a market hall and coffee hub on the first and second floors of the Wells Fargo Center at 1300 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Brandon Hansen of West of West, the contractor is Turner Construction, and the owner is Sof-Xi WFP Owner LLC of Greenwich, Connecticut. A $505,000 mechanical alteration permit is also under review for the project; the contractor is Streimer Sheet Metal Works Inc.

• A $6,861,981 alteration permit is under review for shell improvements to the J.K. Gill Building, formerly named the Gladys McCoy Building, at 408 S.W. Fifth Ave. The former Multnomah County Health Department headquarters building is being renovated by Urban Renaissance Group and Gaw Capital USA. The applicant is Nicole Holt of SERA Architects, the contractor is Fortis Construction, and the owner is 408 5th Ave Portland Propco LLC. A $1,300,000 mechanical alteration permit is also under review for the project; the contractor is Hunter Davisson Inc.
