• The city of Portland is seeking early assistance for a rehabilitation and seismic upgrade of the Joyce Hotel building, at 322 S.W. 11th Ave. Work will include installation of new storefront windows and awnings. New amenities will include a rooftop outdoor space, a bike room, a laundry room, a community room with a large kitchen, and office and clinic space. The applicant is Anna Galloway of Carleton Hart Architecture. The Portland Housing Bureau previously announced the joint project of Community Partners for Affordable Housing, Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare and the Native American Rehabilitation Association (NARA) of the Northwest Inc. would produce a building with 66 affordable housing units and supportive services.

• Early assistance is requested for a three-story, 18-unit apartment building at 1737 N.E. Broadway St. The applicant is Edward Radulescu of EPR Design LLC, and the owners are Sheri Anderson and David DeBlasio of Portland. The existing home on the site is a contributing resource to the historic district, and would be demolished.

• A conditional use permit is requested for a 2,700-square-foot boat storage building at 6543 N. Burlington Ave. Work includes Americans with Disabilities Act upgrades to the existing lot, resurfacing and minor tenant improvements. The applicants are Sharon Raymor of OMF Facilities Services and Erika Price of Akana. The owner is the city of Portland.
