The Southwest Washington Contractors Association‘s board recently announced its officers and directors for this year.

The SWCA, based in Vancouver, Washington, has more than 70 years of experience serving as a resource for the construction industry. It includes general contractors, specialty contractors, engineers, architects and services companies.

The group’s new president is Chrissy Lyons, who works for the Port of Vancouver USA.

鈥淚 will continue the important work done by the SWCA over the last 73 years to build a resilient, highly talented construction industry and stronger community,鈥� Lyons stated in a press release. 鈥淭he organization is in a very good place and we appreciate the hard work and continued advocacy on behalf of our members.鈥�

Lyons previously served on the SWCA’s membership and finance committees.

Other new officers include: Immediate Past President Jerry Sauer of Columbia Rock Products, President-elect Michael Wagy of CalPortland, and Treasurer Drew Barrett of Barrett & Co. CPAs.
