Building permits issued for Feb. 3-9, 2020

  • A $1.75 million addition permit was issued for a three-story addition with a basement to an existing office building at 2525 E. Burnside St. The tenant improvement work is for an existing tenant. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is P7 LLC of Portland and the contractor is Joseph Hughes Construction.
  • A $500,000 addition permit was issued at 1900 N.W. 18th Ave. The applicant is Viktor Palchey of the Bureau of Development Services, the owner is Castaway Bronze LLC of Portland and the primary contractor is out to bid.
  • A $5.39 million new construction permit was issued for a multifamily project at 140 S.W. Columbia St. The applicant is Justin Paull of Andersen Construction, which is the contractor; and the owner is Lot 53 LLC of Portland.
  • Permits totaling $4.44 million were issued for demolition, foundation, excavation, shoring, structural, grading and associated site work for a six-story apartment building with 126 housing units and two levels of underground parking at 8618 N.W. Thompson Road. The applicant is Laurie Linville-Gregston of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the owner is the Liv Stevens Trust of Portland and the contractor is Frame of Mind Construction Inc.

Building permit intakes for Feb. 3-9, 2020

  • A $6.7 million new construction permit is under review at 1120 S.E. Morrison St. for Modera Morrison, a seven-story apartment building with 1.5 levels of underground parking. This permit is for foundation, excavation and shoring. The applicant is Steve Rainey of SERA Architects, the owners are Campf Properties LTD Partnership and AHC Holdings LLC, both of Portland, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

Facility permits issued for Feb. 3-9, 2020

  • Two permits totaling $100.55 million were issued for a 25-story apartment building with four floors of underground parking and ground-floor retail space at 5 S.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Marcus Lima of GBD Architects was the applicant for the major construction permit. Jeff Gardner of Hoffman Construction was the applicant for a curtainwall and storefront permit. The owner in both cases is 5 MLK RPO LLC, while the contractor is Lorentz Bruun Co. Inc.

Facility permit intakes for Feb. 3-9, 2020

  • Two alteration permits totaling $1.6 million are under review at 3181 S.W. Sam Jackson Park Road for Oregon Health & Science University. The applicant is Whit Middlecoff of GBD Architects, the owner is the Oregon State Board of Higher Education and the primary contractor is out to bid.
  • A $9.6 million alteration permit is under review for Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, at 2801 N. Gantenbein Ave. Work includes a ninth-floor family birth center tenant improvement, wall demolition and new walls, medical clean rooms, lounge, locker room, infant room, nurse stations and triage rooms. A $1.7 million mechanical permit is also under review for the project. The applicant is Katherine Ross of ZGF Architects, the owner is Emanuel Hospital and the primary contractor is out to bid.
  • A $2.8 million landslide/slope repair is under review at 3950 S.E. Berkeley Way. The applicant and contractor is Peter Karp of PLI Systems of Hillsboro. The owners are Kalli and Daniel Silvey of Portland.
