• Design advice was requested for conversion of a 51,000-square-foot historic group living complex into affordable housing at 1021 N.E. 33rd Ave. A 36,000-square-foot addition and a future 32,000-square-foot stand-alone building are contemplated to create 128 new affordable housing units. Keith Daily of Emerick Architects is the applicant, and The Movement Center Inc. of Portland is the owner.

• A zoning and information meeting was requested to add food carts to a lot at 700 S.E. 106th Ave. The new use may require the driveway to be widened and a portion of a garage to be removed. The applicant is Gahaith Sahib of Darsalam LLC, and the owner is Elaine Elsea of Portland.

• A zoning and information meeting was requested for a proposed renovation of an existing building at 110 S.E. Main St. for industrial/office and retail sales and service tenants. The applicant is Ben Carr of Brett Schultz Architect, and the owner is SE 2nd and Main LLC.

• A proposal was submitted to designate the building at 128 N.E. Alberta St. as a historic landmark. The applicant is Ian Flood of MWA Architects, and the owner is Alberta Abbey LLC of Newport Beach, California.
