  • Design advice is pending for Analog, a seven-story mixed-use building at 1835 N. Flint Ave. Plans for the project, scheduled for a design advice hearing on March 19, call for 134 dwelling units (including studios, micro-studios, two-bedroom units and three-bedroom units) as well as four townhouses, residential amenity space, and 25 parking spaces. The project has undergone multiple revisions since being submitted for design review in December 2019. The applicant is Jessamyn Griffin of Works Progress Architecture, and the owner is Michael Nyland.
  • Early assistance is sought for a two-story, 6,511-square-foot mosque at 5025 S.E. 122nd Ave. The applicant is Adnan Kamati of AZH Consulting Engineers, and the owner is Masjid Abu-Bakar.
  • Early assistance is pending for a three-story, 30-unit multifamily building with a basement at 6936 N. Maryland Ave. The applicant is James Casey McGuirl, and the owners are Ash Apartments LLC, Snowbell LLC and Maryland 3 LLC.
  • Early assistance is sought for an aviation development center for commercial drone operations firm Skyward IO Inc. on an industrial property at 8940 N. Bradford St. The applicants are E.   • Early assistance is pending for Cooper 52, a three-story, 25-unit apartment building with surface and tuck-under parking at 6865 S.E. 52nd Ave. The applicant is Alex Yale of YBA Architects, and the owner is HMS SE 52nd St LLC, which is managed by a limited liability corporation registered to the address of a Southfield, Michigan law firm.
  • Early assistance is pending for the replacement of three underground fuel storage tanks and canopies at a gas station at 7510 N. Interstate Ave. The applicant is Mike Zirkle of WSCO Petroleum Corp., and the owners are WSCO Petroleum Corp. and Rad Raz LLC.
  • Early assistance is sought for post-dredge surface management, as required by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers鈥 Portland Sediment Evaluation Team and the Environmental Protection Agency, at 5480 N.W. Front Ave. The applicant is Edgar 鈥淭ed鈥 McCall of McCall Oil and Chemical Corporation, and the owner is Tanker Basin LLC.
  • Early assistance is pending for an inquiry into the potential of future development of a vacant lot adjacent to an apartment building at 2238 S.E. Madison St. The applicant is Ben Schonberger of Winterbrook Planning, and the owner is Maison de Jardin LLC.
  • A pre-application conference is sought for the addition of new exterior terraces on either side of the main entrance to the Multnomah County Central Library building at 821 S.W. 10th Ave. Each terrace would consist of approximately 500-600 square feet of new occupiable area. An existing noncompliant ramp, built in 1982, would be removed and replaced with an accessible sloped walkway. The applicant is Tereza Wiest of Hennebery Eddy Architects, and the owner is the Multnomah County Library District.
  • A pre-application conference is sought for a 14-story, 287,000-square-foot mixed-use building at 804 S.W. 12th Ave. The building would hold residential units on floors six through 13, medical and commercial office space on floors two through five, retail and support space on the ground floor, and three levels of below-grade parking. The half-block site, owned by Downtown Development Group, is currently in use as a surface parking lot. The applicants are Brad Shockley and Brian Mock of Jupiter, Florida-based Rendina Healthcare Real Estate and the owner is L-13 LLC.
  • A pre-application conference is sought for a comprehensive plan and zoning amendment to change the existing designation of a property at 6729 S.E. 162nd Ave. from R-10 to greater-density residential or mixed-use. The applicant is Andrew Tull of 3J Consulting Inc., and the owner is Springwater stables Arena LLC.
  • A Type III design review is pending for the Westwind Apartments, a seven-story mixed-use building on a quarter-block site at 327 N.W. Sixth Ave. The project, which last month was the subject of a design advice hearing, is to include 100 deeply affordable units, including 72 single-room occupancy units and 28 studio apartments. The applicant is Adam Hostetler of Works Progress Architecture, and the owner is the city of Portland.
  • A Type III historic resource review procedure is sought for the renovation of Dahlke Manor, a nine-story public housing building at 915 N.E. Schuyler St. The renovation will consist of limited exterior repairs, site work, and an addition to enlarge the existing ground-floor community room on the building鈥檚 west side. The applicant is Halla Hoffer of Peter Meijer Architect, and the owner is Home Forward.
