Russell elected Oregon Investment Council chairman

John Russell, president of Russell Development Co., recently was elected chairman of the Oregon Investment Council. The group, according to its website, oversees the investment and allocation of all state trust funds, including the Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund, the Common School Fund and the State Accident Insurance Fund. Russell has served on the council since 2015; he previously was vice chairman. His current term will end in March 2023.
