Early assistance is sought for two of three projects on three separate properties on the 6900 block of North Maryland Avenue. The properties are under separate ownerships but will be designed at the same time and will each have a shared easement against one another. Early assistance intakes were filed last week for 6928 N. Maryland Ave., which will have 13 dwelling units in a three-story building and is owned by Maryland 3 LLC, and 6950 N. Maryland Ave., which will have a three-story, 30-unit building and is owned by Snowbell LLC. The applicant for both projects, James Casey McGuirl, also applied last week for early assistance on the third project, a three-story, 30-unit building at 6936 N. Maryland Ave. owned by Ash Apartments LLC.
Early assistance is sought for an interior renovation and minor exterior building improvements for a tap room at 7151 N.E. Prescott St. The applicant is Terry Amundson of Koble Creative Architecture, and the owner is Bonelli Irrev GST Exempt of Paso Robles, California.
Early assistance is sought for a project to replace 16 air release valves (ARVs) along the Inverness sewer force main to improve system reliability. The project begins at the Inverness pump station, near Northeast Inverness Drive and 122nd Avenue, and extends seven miles underground to the connection with a 102-foot gravity sewer line near the intersection of North Columbia Boulevard and Argyle Way. A majority of the ARVs are under busy roadways and are difficult to maintain. The applicant is Brenda Sherwood of the Portland Bureau of Environmental Services.
Early assistance is sought for improvements to a single-story retail building at 106 N.E. Grand Ave. The 9,000-square-foot building, which currently houses a mattress store, would be divided with demising walls into four tenant spaces for restaurants and retail businesses. The project would include replacement of some storefront and new finishes on the façade. The applicant is Michael Parshall of Woodblock Architecture, and the owner is CSK LLC of Tucson, Arizona.
