Building permits issued for April 13-19, 2020

  • A $12,500,000 alteration permit was issued for a voluntary seismic upgrade and related work on Fountain Place, a five-story unreinforced masonry apartment building at 929 S.W. Salmon St. The applicant is Halla Hoffer of Peter Meijer Architect, the contractor is Lorentz Bruun, and the owner is Home Forward.
  • A $919,615 alteration permit was issued for the renovation of a single-story warehouse building at 110 S.E. Main St. The project will include a change of occupancy, seismic upgrade, full build-out of three tenant spaces to include kitchens and other space, and a complete reroof. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Pro-Teck Construction Inc., and the owner is SE 2nd & Main LLC.
  • A $23,558,491 new construction permit was issued for a new eight-story, 170-unit mixed-use building with one level of underground parking at 465 N.E. Davis St. The building will have 5,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space, apartments on the upper levels, and a lounge, fitness area, leasing office, bike storage and lounge space, and pet amenity space. The applicant is Ryan Miyahira of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the contractor is San Diego-based Fairfield Development LP, and the owner is Fairfield NE Grand LLC, also of San Diego.

Building permit intakes for April 13-19, 2020

  • A $1,000,000 new construction permit is under review for a value-added revision to a new concrete tilt-up building on the former Portland Meadows racetrack site at 9475 N. Horseshoe Ave. The revision would update the main office block layout, including architectural, plumbing, mechanical and electrical designs. Portions of the warehouse mechanical and electrical designs would be revised as well. The applicant is Daniel Novick of Mackenzie, the contractor is Perlo Construction, and the owner is Prologis LP of Denver.
  • A $690,000 new construction permit is under review for a new single-story warehouse shell building at 10915 N. Lombard St. The applicant is Eric Lanciault of Eric Lanciault Architecture, the contractor is JH Kelly, and the owner is Borden Chemical Inc. of Columbus, Ohio.

Facility permits issued for April 13-19, 2020

  • A $642,100 addition permit was issued on deferred submittal for installation of an art glass wall in the lobby of the Multnomah County Central Courthouse building at 1200 S.W. First Ave. The applicant is Thomas Jacobs of Bullseye Glass, the contractor is Hoffman Construction, and the owner is Multnomah County.

Facility permit intakes for April 13-19, 2020

  • A $3,822,100 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for New Relic on the 23rd floor of the U.S. Bancorp Tower at 111 S.W. Fifth Ave. The applicant is Anne Karel of Interior Architects PC, the contractor is Fortis Construction, and the owner is Association of Unit Owners of One Eleven Tower Condo. A $467,500 mechanical alteration permit is also under review for the project; the primary contractor is out to bid.
