Ben Hoffman has joined GeoEngineers Inc. as a senior geotechnical engineer. He has 18 years of professional experience 鈥� mostly working on medium and large transportation infrastructure projects both in the U.S. and internationally. He previously worked for Jacobs/CH2M. Hoffman is familiar with specialized geotechnical site exploration, assessments of seismic design considerations, deep foundation analysis and design, and static and seismically induced settlement and instability. He will serve the firm鈥檚 Lake Oswego/Salem offices, and work closely on geotechnical engineering projects across the Pacific Northwest. He has a master鈥檚 degree in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in civil engineering from Oregon State University.
