  • Early assistance is sought for a three-story, 12-unit multifamily building at 1139 S.W. Gibbs St. The applicant is Ed Bruin of Edge Development, and the owner is Lawrence Margolin.
  • Early assistance is pending for a four-story office building with ground-floor retail space and partial below-grade parking at 2757 N.E. Pacific St. The 0.67-acre site currently holds an 18,000-square-foot commercial building occupied by a vintage/costume store. The applicant is Justin Kurtz of Scott | Edwards Architecture, and the owner is J&K Armentrout Property LLC Et Al.
  • Early assistance is pending for a 15-unit multifamily building at 1427 N. Bryant St. An existing single-family residence on the site would be demolished. The applicant is Doug Minarik of Minarik Architecture Inc., and the owner is Schwartz Family Trust.
  • A pre-permit zoning plan check is pending for a new affordable multifamily building at 6485 S.E. 128th Ave. The three-story building would hold 15 apartments – either studios or one-bedroom units – and five tuck-under parking spaces. The applicant is Erica Baggen of Scott | Edwards Architecture, and the owner is Luke-Dorf Inc.
  • A Type III design review is pending for the Westwind Apartments – a seven-story mixed-use building on a quarter-block site at 327 N.W. Sixth Ave. The project, which in February was the subject of a design advice hearing, is to include 100 deeply affordable apartments, including 72 single-room occupancy units and 28 studios. The applicant is Adam Hostetler of Works Progress Architecture, and the owner is the city of Portland.
