Peterson named Reed’s Crossing vice president of operations

Newland Communities has named Eric Peterson vice president of operations for Reed’s Crossing – the largest (by density) mixed-use, master-planned community in Oregon. Peterson originally joined the company in 2017 as senior project manager of Reed’s Crossing; he led design, entitlement and infrastructure construction. Peterson previously worked for Redmond-based Hayden Homes, for which he managed land development throughout Oregon. Peterson started his career managing land acquisition and entitlements for his family’s homebuilding business, and then founded Praxis Capital, a private equity real estate investment firm; he served as managing director from 2008 until 2013.
