Building permits issued for May 11-17, 2020

  • A $720,424 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for post-tensioned slab work on the Alta Art Tower building at 1510 S.W. Alder St. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Andersen Construction Co., and the owner is REEP-WP Art Tower JV LLC.
  • A $1,053,850 new construction permit was issued on deferred submittal for curtain wall and glazing systems on Kellogg Middle School at 3400 S.E. 69th Ave. The applicant is Anna Todd of contractor Todd Construction, and the owner is Portland Public Schools.

Building permit intakes for May 11-17, 2020

  • A $1,168,952 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for a telecommunications tenant at 1335 N.W. Northrup St. The project will create equipment rooms, second-floor conference rooms, and installation of telecommunications and mechanical equipment. The applicant is Brian Hobbs of Noblesville, Indiana, the owner is Level 3 Communications LLC of Broomfield, Colorado, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

Facility permits issued for May 11-17, 2020

  • A $1,100,000 alteration permit was issued for an interior and exterior tenant improvement at Portland International Airport’s Central Receiving Distribution Center at 8975 N.E. Airport Way. The work is part of the terminal core expansion suite of projects at the airport. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Hoffman Skanska LLC, and the owner is the Port of Portland. A $200,000 mechanical alteration permit was also issued for the project; the contractor is Daniel Miranda Inc.
  • A $787,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for PDX13 on levels one and two of the 1320 Broadway building at 1320 S.W. Broadway. The applicant is Melissa Wortman of Seattle-based Interior Architects, the contractor is Swinerton Builders, and the owner is Portland 1320 Broadway Real Estate Holding LLC. A $125,000 mechanical alteration permit was also issued for the project; the contractor is MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions Inc.
