Smerdon named staff geologist by GRI

ENGINEERING
GRI has named Curtis Smerdon a staff geologist. He is responsible for completing subsurface investigations, laboratory tests of soil and rock, and site reconnaissance for a wide range of projects. Smerdon joined the firm in November 2017 as a pavement specialist. He has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in geology, with a focus on geophysics, tectonic geomorphology and petrology, from Western Washington University.
