Building permits issued for June 1-7, 2020

• A $700,000 addition permit was issued for a two-story addition to the west side of an existing worship hall at 13300 N.E. San Rafael St. The applicant is Keith Randolph of LRS Architects, the contractor is Carpentry Plus Inc., and the owner is Gateway Baptist Church.

• A $650,000 addition permit was issued for the renovation of a commercial building at 1610 S.E. Tolman St. The building, which formerly held a Dairy Queen restaurant, will be converted to a bank. The applicant is Josh Behr of Ankrom Moisan Architects, the contractor is TJ Nisbet Construction, and the owner is CBC Moreland LLC.

• A $550,000 alteration permit was issued for a renovation to an existing three-story building at 1200 S.W. Main St. The project will include a change of occupancy on the ground floor to accommodate dining, lounge and conference/training space as well as reconfiguration of office space on the upper floors. The applicant is Andrea Wallace of Ink:Built Design, the contractor is Bartel Contracting Inc., and the owner is Twelve Hundred Main LLC.

Building permit intakes for June 1-7, 2020

• A $530,000 addition permit is under review for a tenant improvement to create office space for a first-time tenant at 6821 N.E. Columbia Blvd., Unit 14. The applicant is Ryan Pickrel of Faster Permits, the contractor is Union Corner Construction, and the owner is 205 Properties LLC.

• A $900,000 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement to create a medical plasma collection facility at 12215 S.E. Powell Blvd. The applicant is Peter Finley Fry, the owner is Deerfield, Illinois-based Green Leaves Healthcare Pharmacy Inc., and the primary contractor is out to bid.

• A $570,748 alteration permit is under review for a tenant improvement for a new laboratory at 12025 N.E. Marx St. The applicant is Don Livingstone of Livingstone Studios Architecture and Planning, the contractor is GNC Construction Corp., and the owner is WPC Parrose LLC of Honolulu, Hawaii.

• A $2,053,125 new construction permit is under review for a five-story, 17-unit apartment building at 1675 N.E. 41st Ave. The applicant is Doug Circosta of Doug Circosta Architect, the owner is Caudaloso LLC, and the primary contractor is out to bid.

Facility permits issued for June 1-7, 2020

• A $750,000 alteration permit was issued for a tenant improvement for Italian food hall La Cooperativa on the first floor of the Tanner Point building at 1220 N.W. Ninth Ave. The applicant is Matt Fitzgerald of GBD Architects, the contractor is Lease Crutcher Lewis, and the owner is CSHV 9North LLC of Addison, Texas.

• A $7,000,000 alteration permit was issued for improvements on all floors and the roof of a Kaiser Permanente medical office building at 3550 N. Interstate Ave. The applicant is Robbin Gray of Clark/Kjos Architects, the contractor is Balfour Beatty Construction, and the owner is Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest. A $3,000,000 mechanical alteration permit was also issued for the project; the contractor is Total Mechanical Inc.

Facility permit intakes for June 1-7, 2020

• A $2,500,000 alteration permit is under review for a south terminal security checkpoint enplaning level tenant improvement at Portland International Airport. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the contractor is Hoffman Skanska LLC, and the owner is the Port of Portland.

• A $9,224,274 alteration permit is under review for an HVAC infrastructure upgrade to the Kaiser Permanente Building at 500 N.E. Multnomah St. The work will take place on the 17th and roof levels, and will include demolition and replacement of portions of the roof for crane access. The applicant is Anne Karel of Interior Architects PC, the contractor is Fortis Construction, and the owner is Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Northwest. A $7,144,053 mechanical alteration permit is also under review for the project; the primary contractor is out to bid.
