Rosendin Electric has a history of being proactive on safety.

Take early 2020 for example, when the company started the year with more injuries than the executive team was comfortable with. While embodying the core value of 鈥淲e Care,鈥� Rosendin mandated a company-wide safety stand up. To reiterate their core values, company leaders reinforced the importance of maintaining a safe work environment, and reminded workers that they are Rosendin鈥檚 most important assets 鈥� this was across jobsites and offices.

鈥淎s we worked through this we did it with our 鈥榃e Care鈥� core value. 鈥� Always trying to make our project safe and meet or exceeding the new requirement laid out by the state, owners and general contractors,鈥� the company said. 鈥淲e instituted daily meetings with our leadership team in the NW to ensure we were staying on top of any problems that came from our response to COVID-19, and keeping our teams on the same page. We utilized some large swamp coolers to help with sanitizing large areas as well. These plans have continued to be updated and added to as we currently bring in more people to the projects.鈥�

The coronavirus pandemic has also forced Rosendin to rethink how its workers go about their jobs.

Plans were constantly updated as the government issued guidelines on social distancing and the number of crewmembers who could be on a job site.

鈥淩osendin has a great safety culture and is always looking at new ways to keep it growing,鈥� the company said.

Safety has always been an important part of the culture at Rosendin, as is providing continued education to workers.

鈥淲orking in data centers requires additional know-how and constant ownership, as electricians work in all sorts of environments throughout their careers,鈥� the company said. 鈥淎ll of our workers were always very appreciative after taking those classes.
