DCI Engineers has hired Ethan Martin as an associate and member of its structural team with a focus on mass-timber designs. He will provide clients with valuable mass-timber knowledge and instill confidence to pursue various types of solutions. Martin previously served as the Northwest regional director for WoodWorks. He is familiar with mass-timber code, permitting and design. He has collaborated with state officials to set new precedents in prescriptive building codes as well as contributed to performance-based designs of tall wood buildings.
