Building permits issued for July 20-26, 2020

  • A $2.5 million permit was issued for roof alterations at Headwaters Apartments, 8833 S.W. 30th Ave. The work includes replacement of existing four-ply built-up roofing, sheeting and insulation with a new built-up roof assembly, and repair and replacement of manufactured roof trusses as needed. The applicant is Nathan Arnold of Faster Permits, the owner is the city of Portland, and the contractor is Lorentz Bruun Construction.
  • A $688,000 permit was issued for a three-story, 11-unit apartment building at 6290 N. Montana Ave. No on-site parking is proposed. The applicant is Ben Carr of Brett Schultz Architect, the owner is 6234 N. Montana LLC and the contractor is Sams Development Inc.
  • A $648,000 permit was issued for joists at a storage facility at 15450 N.E. Airport Way. The applicant is Hans Howard of Sierra Construction, the owner is Prologis LP of Denver and the contractor is Sierra Construction.
  • A $782,000 permit was issued to replace existing fueling equipment with a relocated underground fuel tank, dispenser and related equipment at a Police Bureau facility at 4747 E. Burnside St. The applicant is Jane Gerow with the city of Portland, the owner is the city of Portland and contractor is Anderson Environmental Contracting LLC of Kelso, Washington.

  • A $1.2 million permit is under review for a three-story, 19-unit apartment building with associated site work at 823 N.E. 29th Ave. The applicant is Nathan Day of Wright Architecture, the owner is Turk Investments LLC of Norco, California, and the contractor is to be bid.
  • A $20.8 million permit is under review for Rosewood Family Health Center, a three-story medical clinic. An exact address was not provided, but it’s in the 97266 area code of Southeast Portland. The first floor will have a medical clinic and pharmacy, the second floor will hold a dental clinic and the third floor will host administrative space. The applicant is Zac Horton of Faster Permits, the owner is Agena Corp. of Toppenish, Washington, and the contractor is The Neenan Co. LLP of Fort Collins, Colorado.

  • A $12 million permit was issued for new walls, rooms, bathrooms, ceilings, flooring and finishes at 400 S.W. Sixth Ave. The applicant is Amalia Mohr of LRS Architects, the owner is Portland 400 Sixth LLC of Foster City, California, and the contractor is Fortis Construction.
  • A $678,000 permit was issued for tenant improvements for Cash App at 400 S.W. Sixth Ave. The work is on floors nine through 11. The applicant is Claire Diller of Harder Mechanical in Milwaukie, the owner is Portland 400 Sixth LLC of Foster City, California, and the contractor is Harder Mechanical.
  • A $1.35 million permit was issued for tenant improvements for Steelhead Surgical at 1375 S.E. 10th Ave. The applicant is Emma Survis of Mackenzie, the owner is Premium Property – CSNS LLC of Portland and the contractor is R&H Construction Co.

  • A $10 million permit is under review at Portland International Airport for ticket lobby, south security checkpoint and tenant improvements. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is the Port of Portland, and the contractor is Hoffman Skanska LLC of Parsippany, New Jersey.
