Grand Ave. The existing Burger King will be demolished. A new driveway onto Southeast Clay Street will be required. Three existing Sequoia trees will be retained. A Type 3 Historic Resource Review has been requested for work at the Multnomah County Central Library, 821 S.W. 10th Ave. The project includes creation of new exterior terraces on either side of the main entrance. Each would have 520 to 630 square feet of occupiable area. The terraces would create opportunities for active uses and library programming, and improve ADA access. The applicants are Derek Kirschner of Multnomah County Facilities and Property Management and Tereza Wiest of Hennebery Eddy Architects. The owner is the Multnomah County Library District.
