Tonkon Torp partner聽Kurt Ruttum聽has been elected managing partner of the firm. His practice includes general business and corporate law, with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and finance. He has served on the firm鈥檚 managing board since 2005. Ruttum began his law career with the firm in 1986 and was a partner in 1996 when he left to join a publicly held manufacturing client as vice president and general counsel. Subsequently he served as vice president, chief financial officer, treasurer, and executive committee member of a publicly held software company. Ruttum rejoined Tonkon Torp in 2000.
