San Diego-based Sunrise Management has opened a Portland office and tapped Dennis Mitchell to take charge as regional vice president. He will concentrate on increasing the firm鈥檚 market share in Portland by directing long-term marketing, strategic planning, operations, and day-to-day activities. Mitchell has more than 13 years of multifamily and commercial property management experience in both the private and public sectors. Most recently he served as the regional manager for Avenue5 Residential in Portland. In that role, he oversaw eight properties 鈥� spearheading client management, budgeting, market analysis, strategy development and recruitment.
