Building permits issued for Aug. 31-Sept. 6, 2020

  • A $646,480 permit was issued for renovation of a one-story, 12,179-square-foot industrial building at 2330 N.W. 31st Ave. The renovation will add 5,294 square feet to the building. Seismic upgrades will be performed. Zac Horton of Faster Permits is the applicant, CFC Group LLC of Portland is the owner and 1st Call Construction Inc. of Vancouver, Washington, is the contractor.
  • A $750,000 permit was issued for a voluntary seismic upgrade at 421 S.W. Oak St. Work includes new shear walls, X-bracing and collector steel. The applicant is Matt Fitzgerald of GBD Architects, the owner is G&I VII Five Oak Owner LLC of New York, New York, and the contractor is R&H Construction.
  • A $1.09 million permit was issued to construct a new three-story, four-unit apartment building with associated site work at 1406 S.E. Glenwood St. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is Kehoe Northwest Properties LLC of Portland, and the contractor is Portland Leeds Living LLC.
  • A $1.56 million permit was issued to build a new three-story, five-unit apartment building with associated site work at 1405 S.E. Bybee Blvd. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is Kehoe Northwest Properties LLC of Portland, and the contractor is Portland Leeds Living LLC.

Building permit intakes for Aug. 31-Sept. 6, 2020

  • A $12.33 million permit is under review for an extensive renovation and expansion to an apartment building at 915 N.E. Schuyler St. Work includes a multi-floor renovation, expansion of the ground-floor community room, a new patio, stormwater system, external generator and revamped parking. The applicant is Halla Hoffer of Peter Meijer Architect, the owner is the Housing Authority of Portland, and the primary contractor is to bid.
  • A $1.2 million new construction permit is being reviewed for a three-story, 12-unit apartment building at 6606 N. Greenwich Ave. The applicant is Ryan Pickrel of Faster Permits, the owner is Block One Greenwich LLC of Portland, and the contractor is K&C Custom Homes LLC.
  • A $2.1 million permit is under review for a new three-story, 15-unit apartment building at 6485 S.E. 128th Ave. The applicant is Erica Baggen of Scott | Edwards Architecture, the owner is Luke-Dorf Inc. of Tigard, and the primary contractor is to bid.

  • A $1.5 million permit is being reviewed for work on Concourse C at Portland International Airport. Work includes relocation of existing tenants, demolition of walls, construction of new walls to create storage rooms, and more. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is the Port of Portland, and the contractor is Hoffman Skanska LLC.
