  • Early assistance is pending to replace the existing Burnside Bridge with a “long span” replacement option. The project comes with questions related to historic resources, design review, greenway/river review and conditional use. The applicants are Megan Neill of Multnomah County and Heather Catron of HDR. Property owners involved are Portland Rescue Mission, the city of Portland and Shoreline Building Limited Partnership of Portland.
  • Early assistance has been requested for a proposed project to renovate a former bank building at 3233 N. Lombard St. to accommodate up to three tenants, including one that would use the existing drive-thru. An outdoor seating area and a potential pass-through window may be used. The applicant is Jennifer Rinkus of Baysinger Partners Architecture, and the owner is Lombard Holdings LLC of Newport Beach, California.
  • Stream and floodplain restoration of Johnson Creek is planned near 6905 S.E. Deardorff Road, including removal of armored walls along banks, grading and wetlands restoration. The applicant is Joshua Owens of Otak Inc. Property owners are the city of Portland and three residential homeowners.
