Amanda Sales has been promoted to director of human resources at Energy Trust of Oregon. The new position was created in recognition of the importance of people and culture in the organization鈥檚 diversity, equity and inclusion goals. While with Energy Trust, Sales has developed a mentoring program, advanced staff compensation philosophy and guidelines, developed training, hiring and recruiting strategies for increasing staff diversity, and produced an HR strategy that aligns with the organization鈥檚 2020-2024 Strategic Plan. Outside of the company, Sales previously provided interpersonal and career skills coaching to people of color in prison or work release programs.
