Building permits issued for Sept. 14-20, 2020

  • A $2.2 million permit was issued for load-out canopies at Prologis’ Amazon facility at 9475 N. Horseshoe Ave. The applicant is Nick Jones of Perlo Construction, the owner is Prologis LP of Denver and the contractor is Perlo. Also, a $3.5 million permit was issued for construction of an asphalt parking lot and underground utilities at the same location. The applicant is Anna Cunningham of DOWL LLC in Portland, and the contractor is Perlo.
  • An $886,759 new construction permit was issued for a storage property at 7460 N. Leadbetter Road. Work will include a new vehicle maintenance garage with office space on the main level and a mezzanine level with storage and offices. Associated site work will involve stormwater management, a parking lot and landscaping.
  • An $853,000 new construction permit was issued for a truck charging station and site work at 4715 N. Lagoon Ave. The applicant is Breanne Mocaby of Black & Veatch in Lake Oswego. The owner is Daimler Trucks North America LLC and the contractor is Safety Electric Inc. of Salem.

Building permit intakes for Sept. 14-20, 2020

  • A $2.415 million permit is under review to replace failed EIFS cladding on the third and fourth floors at 618 N.W. 12th Ave. The applicant is Erik Lawrence of RDH Building Sciences, the owner is Hoyt Commons Condominium Owners’ Association, and the contractor is Jeff Millis of Gores Construction Inc. in Milwaukie.
  • A $750,000 alteration permit is under review to install distilling equipment and build out a tasting room, new entry and canopy at 2075 N.W. Wilson St. The applicant is Zachary Freund of LRS Architects, the owner is MW 2000 Wilson LLC, and the contractor is R&H Construction Co.
  • A $900,000 permit is being evaluated to build a three-story, 12-unit apartment building at 1139 S.W. Gibbs St. The applicant is Ryan Pickrel of Faster Permits and the owner is Elliott Properties Inc. The primary contractor is to bid.
  • A $730,684 permit is being reviewed for 1014 N.E. Alberta St. The applicant is Brandon Yoder of Builders Design and the owner is 1016 Alberta LLC et al of Tigard.

Facility permits issued for Sept. 14-20, 2020

  • A $750,000 permit was issued for work at Portland International Airport, including terminal, bag claim and office. Demolition and new walls, ceiling, flooring, finishes and electric are planned. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits, the owner is the Port of Portland and the contractor is Hoffman Skanska LLC.
  • A $997,113 permit was issued for ground-floor tenant improvements at Holladay Park Plaza, at 1300 N.E. 16th Ave. Work is related to renovating the restaurant. The applicant is Mike Coyle of Faster Permits and the owner is Holladay Park Plaza Inc. The contractor is Brian Sabom of Turner Construction Co.
  • A $998,345 facility permit was issued for mechanical work at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital, 1015 N.W. 22nd Ave. The upgrades include new ductwork, air handling units, cooling and pumps. Kurt Duong of Total Mechanical in Camas, Washington, is the applicant. Total Mechanical is also the contractor. Good Samaritan Hospital is the owner.

  • A $1.2 million permit is being reviewed for alterations at Multnomah Athletic Club, including new casework and reception areas, weight room and personal training and exercise rooms. Josh Peterson of GBD Architects is the applicant. Multnomah Amateur Athletic Club is the owner and Lease Crutcher Lewis LLC is the contractor.
