  • An application is pending for a three-story, 12-unit multifamily building with net-zero carbon goals at 6343 N. Lombard St. The building would total 7,500 gross square feet. The applicant is Robert Pile of Viking Development in Scappoose. The owner is Columbia Enterprises 6343 LLC of Portland.
  • Early assistance has been requested for construction of an office building at the Port of Portland’s Terminal 1 South. The applicant is Steve Miller of Emerio Design in Beaverton.
  • A pre-application conference has been requested for redevelopment of the Joyce Hotel, at 322 S.W. 11th Ave. Schematic plans calls for 66 single-room occupancy apartments with kitchenettes and shared bathrooms. The ground floor would offer a full kitchen, a laundry room, a clinic and counseling room, and associated staff offices. The unreinforced masonry structure would also receive a seismic upgrade. New building systems, including an elevator, are planned. The applicant is Martin Segura of Carleton Hart Architecture. Community Partners for Affordable Housing is serving as the developer. The property is owned by the city of Portland.
  • Design review has been requested for an 11-story modular apartment building at 2057 S.W. Park Ave. The building would feature mass-plywood construction and have 91 affordable housing units. Ralph Tahran of Tahran Architecture and Planning LLC in Lake Oswego is the applicant. Park Avenue PSU LLC is the owner.
