Meskele promoted to senior engineer by GRI

GRI has promoted Tadesse Meskele to senior engineer. He joined the firm in 2013. Meskele has a doctorate in geotechnical engineering from Oregon State University, and extensive experience with geotechnical and earthquake engineering projects throughout the region. His expertise includes seismic evaluation and design of critical infrastructure, including waterfront structures, buildings, bridges, industrial and LNG facilities. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute. Meskele was named a 2020 Housner Fellow by EERI for his seismic impact awareness contributions to our communities and infrastructure.
