The Daily Journal of Commerce is now inviting firms throughout the Pacific Northwest to enter their best projects completed (at least substantially) in 2020 for its annual TopProjects competition.

We’re looking for virtually any kind of project except single-family residential. Past competitions have included categories such as: multifamily, affordable housing, senior living, office, retail, primary education, secondary education, tenant improvement, health care, manufacturing, transportation, infrastructure, hospitality, industrial, recreation, public space and public service.

Nominations should include a completed submission form, a detailed description of the project, a full list of project team members, and at least five high-quality completion photos, work-in-progress shots, videos, renderings or other visuals that represent the project.

The cost to nominate a project is $200. The submission deadline is May 28.

Finalists will be judged by a panel of professionals from the local building industry. Projects will be judged on scope of work, challenges and obstacles overcome, budget and schedule considerations, and quality.

Category winners and the overall winner will be announced during the TopProjects awards event, which will take place Sept. 9, from 4 to 6 p.m.
