Megan Ferris, a trial attorney and shareholder with MacMillan, Scholz & Marks, has become a member of the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel. Founded in 1936, the FDCC is an invitation-only organization for U.S. and international civil defense litigators, senior corporate counsel and insurance claims executives. A limited number of private practice lawyers are invited. Ferris was invited after being nominated and undergoing a rigorous peer review. To be considered for membership, nominees must be of high professional standing, demonstrate good moral character and devote a substantial amount of their professional time to the defense of civil litigation. Ferris鈥� civil litigation practice includes construction defense, insurance defense and commercial litigation in Oregon and Washington.
