GRI, a full-service geotechnical, pavement, geological and environmental consulting firm, has hired Tovey Brown as a staff engineer. While working under the close direction of a senior geologist, engineer or principal, Brown will be responsible for completing subsurface investigations, conducting laboratory testing of soil and rock, performing engineering analyses, and providing construction observation services. He is an engineer-in-training and previously was an intern for GRI. Brown has two degrees from Oregon State University 鈥� a bachelor鈥檚 degree in civil engineering, and a master鈥檚 degree in geotechnical engineering.
