GRI hires Souri as staff engineer

Milad Souri has joined GRI, a full-service geotechnical, pavement, geological and environmental consulting firm, as a full-time staff engineer. He has a background in advanced numerical modeling, as well as knowledge and experience handling pile foundations and seismic engineering. Souri will support GRI with numerical simulation modeling. He will be responsible for completing subsurface investigations and laboratory tests, performing engineering analyses and modeling, and providing construction observation services. Currently, Souri is pursuing a doctorate in geotechnical earthquake engineering at Portland State University.
