Eric Dresselhuys is now CEO of ESS Inc., a Wilsonville-based manufacturer of long-duration, iron flow batteries for commercial and utility-scale energy storage applications. He succeeds co-founder Craig Evans, who will remain president. Dresselhuys will guide the company as it expands its market presence and joins the global effort to decarbonize energy systems. He has held a variety of roles in both public and private companies. In 2002, he co-founded Silver Spring Networks, a leader in smart grid networking and data solutions. He held multiple executive roles during his 15-year tenure there. Dresselhuys also previously held leadership positions at Procter & Gamble and Smart Energy Water.
