Wilsonville-based manufacturer ESS Inc. has added Raffi Garabedian to its board of directors. He has had a long career in the solar industry, including a stint as a member of First Solar鈥檚 executive team. Most recently, he served as its chief technology officer from 2012 through 2020. Prior to that, Garabedian spent more than 15 years in the semiconductor and microelectromechanical systems industries developing and manufacturing new products ranging from automotive sensors to telecommunications switching systems. He holds more than 20 issued patents and has deep experience in strategy, product development, engineering, manufacturing technology, management and team building.
