Shannon Wages has joined Environmental Science Associates as a principal associate in its community development practice. Based in Portland, she will work with the firm’s practitioners and clients throughout California, Oregon and Washington to implement community planning projects to improve mobility systems, housing choices, climate change mitigation and adaptation, floodplain and shoreline management, and environmental health inequities. Most recently with Dudek, Wages has amassed nearly two decades of experience in planning, urban design, climate adaptation, and community outreach. Throughout her career, Wages has successfully facilitated preparation of a wide variety of community plans. She holds a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Southern California as well as a bachelor’s degree in humanities, English and Spanish from Brigham Young University.
