Burnside St. The proposal calls for construction of a six-story, 211-unit apartment building with five levels of wood framing over one of concrete. There would be one level of underground parking. The units would be restricted to households earning no more than 60 percent area median income. John Fisher and Todd Walton of Inland Oregon LLC are the applicants, and the Frederick and Lorene Powell Trust is the project owner.
  • A request for design advice is pending for a project at 1122 S.E. Ankeny St. The proposal calls for construction of an L-shaped building with 41 units all offered at 60 percent area median income through a private program. The structure would have a five-story section and a four-story section; they would connect and have a total of 19,369 gross square feet. The team is anticipating modular, prefabricated mass plywood construction. Leslie Cliffe of Bora Architects and Aadne Tonning of HMS Development are the applicants, and RLAND Development Co LLC is the project owner.
  • Design advice has been requested for a project on Northwest 19th Avenue (97209 zip code). The proposal is for market-rate apartments to be developed on Block 261 and Block 262 in the Con-Way Master Plan area. Block 261 would gain a five-story building with tuck-under parking and Block 262 would gain a six/seven-story building with basement parking. Stormwater disposal would be through dry wells.   • Early assistance is pending for a project at 1314 S.E. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. The proposal calls for three-story, wood-frame, garden-style building. It would have 40 apartments – a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. The project would also include outdoor areas, patios, landscaping and stormwater planters.   • Early assistance is pending for a project at 1525 S.W. Park Ave. The proposal calls for renovation of the pedestal monument signage and the courtyard to the existing building. The interior courtyard modifications would create limited (gated) access, landscaping with a covered pergola structure, planters, grilles, benches and updated finishes. There would be bike parking, car parking, designated easements for fire access and pedestrian access to the adjacent site.
