Alexei Marin-Cortes has joined JLD Cost Consulting as a cost estimator. He primarily focuses on estimates for civil improvements and site work, but supports the estimating team for projects of all types. Marin-Cortes has more than six years of experience in the building industry, most recently as a construction estimator for a general contractor in Portland. Before that, he worked as a construction estimator in the Washington, D.C., area and as a structural engineer in Cleveland. Marin-Cortes has a master鈥檚 degree in civil and structural engineering from Portland State University.
