TriMet has hired Rachelle Glazier as executive director of transportation operations. She will direct all operational activities for TriMet鈥檚 bus, MAX light rail, WES commuter rail and LIFT paratransit services. Glazier has more than 16 years of experience with some of the largest railroads and transit systems within the United States. Most recently, she served as general manager of U.S. network operations for the Canadian National Railway, and was stationed in Homewood, Illinois. Glazier spent early years of her career in eastern Oregon, working her way up at Union Pacific Railroad from locomotive machinist to director of mechanical maintenance.
