CONSTRUCTION

HNTB has named Mel Sears president of its Northwest division. Based in the firm鈥檚 office in Bellevue, Washington, he will oversee infrastructure programs in growth markets, including highways, rail/transit, tolling and aviation. Sears is responsible for leading operations and strategic planning in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming and Colorado. He will supervise three offices, numerous field offices and more than 400 professionals.聽He actively represents HNTB in civic- and industry-related associations, helps recruit top talent, and fosters relationships with clients and thought leaders. Sears joined HNTB earlier this year as western region sales officer.
